WHY JESUS?
A Message of Hope
In the beginning, God created a perfect world—beautiful, full of life, and designed for harmony. He created humanity in His own image, to live in relationship with Him and to reflect His love, peace, and goodness.
But sin entered the world through Adam and Eve when they chose to disobey God’s command. Their rebellion brought brokenness, suffering, and separation from God, affecting all of humanity:
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
No effort, religion, or good works can restore us—but in His great love, God made a way.
Jesus — God’s Answer
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to rescue us from sin and restore our relationship with the Father. He lived a perfect life, then willingly went to the cross, taking our sins upon Himself:
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
Surely He took up our pain and bore our suffering… and by His wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
Three days later, He rose again, conquering death and opening the way for forgiveness and new life:
Christ died for our sins… He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
A New Life
Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received by faith:
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… it is the gift of God—not by works. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Saying “Yes” to Jesus
Which side are you on — the side with Christ or without Him? You don’t have to wait another moment to choose life in Him. Here’s how you can accept Jesus into your life:
Admit your need – Acknowledge that you are a sinner and need God’s forgiveness.
Be willing to turn from your sins (Repent) – Decide to turn away from the things that separate you from God.
Believe in Jesus Christ – Trust that He died on the cross for your sins and rose again, conquering death. Salvation comes through faith, not works.
Invite Jesus into your life (Receive Him as Lord and Savior) – Through prayer, surrender control of your life to Jesus and ask Him to live in you by the Holy Spirit.
If you are ready, you can pray this simple prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I admit that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I repent of my sins and turn to You. I believe that You died for me on the cross and rose again on the third day. I invite You to come into my life and take control of my heart. Be my Lord, my Savior, and my King. Thank You for saving me, cleansing me, and making me new. Amen."
Today, you can turn to Him and begin again.
